I'm also very excited for this, but it's no longer being advertised as a 70th birthday celebration.

I just noticed that too!  I wonder why the change?!  Either way I'm super excited and I do hope we get to sing Happy Birthday (even though her birthday was April 21.)

Taking my mother to celebrate her 80th. I think we are 7th or 8th row on aisle. Don't have the info in front of me.

Here is an earlier thread that has a copy of the original release showing 70th Birthday. Odd no longer showing on NY Phil.

https://forum.broadwayworld.com/readmessage.php?thread=1115629#5140872

Also 3/26/19 press release didn't have birthday info listed.

FYI, the $99 seat next to me in the 3rd row center orchestra popped up on the NY Philharmonic website. I have it in my cart, and I'm trying to find a friend who wants it, but not sure if I'll be able to find anyone. If someone on here is interested in it, let me know!

Looks like they just released a few more seats in all price points throughout the theatre.

Could have been A truly wonderful evening marred by the inexcusable poor sound... Patti sang a number from almost all of her shows and looked incredible. Even though I knew every word to the songs, it would have been nice to actually hear them... more later. Off to the airport

When she began her first number, I thought “oh, she must be under the weather” but then I realized that she, as always, was in fantastic voice and that the sound mixing was horridly uneven.

She was wonderful as expected. Obviously they had to keep it to a strict 90mins so she couldn’t do her usual banter and anecdotes. She just basically rolled into one song after another with the musicians. Cried about five times. I think the house gave her 4 or 5 standing ovations but I lost track because this other queen in the balcony and myself stood after nearly every number. Really glorious performance.
Was hoping she was gonna hint at something about the Company transfer, though lol

Yeah, the mixing was definitely not great at first, but markedly improved after the first song. She was in fantastic voice, and it was a treat hearing so many of those numbers with a full symphony. (Meadowlark is a LOT of song with a full symphony, though.)

I wish there could've been more banter beyond the Bernstein story, but I've worked in events and would've been really peeved if I was working that gala and the talent went overtime. No hinting about a Company transfer, but she did sing the new lyrics for Ladies Who Lunch! Plus I need a recording of that Overture stat.

I'm also totally drawing a blank: what was the second encore she did, between Some Other Time and A Hundred Years From Today?

The concert was indeed amazing, but as others have said, the sound was horrible.

That sort of thing is very much part of Everett's performance persona. I love that she and Patti are friends- I would be over the moon if they did a whole concert together.

I know that about Everetts style but from where we were sitting she was very exposed. You can tell they are friends. I loved during her time on stage with Patti I think it was during the song and she looked at Patti and said "Wow". Their voices blended quite well together. And I think an evening of them together would be amazing and also hysterical.

The arrangement of “Bridge Over Troubled Water” was glorious!

And, yes, I want a recording of that overture!
(The entire concert, for that matter)

My roommate just reminded me that the middle encore was "My Best To You," which she sings on Matters of the Heart.
