Im staying positive too. :) Sending you good energy as well Miles and Jordan. I hope you get tickets.

You know, the more I've thought about this structure, the more I actually like it?
If it was sold traditionally, we would have all rushed Ticketmaster at 10am and immediately been told no tickets available. We would have then spent hours refreshing and trying multiple methods of snagging tickets. We'd be irate that people on Twitter were getting theirs when no matter how many times you refresh, you get nothing. Or what you do get is the last row of the arena.
This is complete "set it and forget it." It's Priceline. Set your parameters and wait.
The chances are really no different - perhaps BETTER because of the decreased chances of bots/scalpers taking all the inventory with the pre-registration and tickets ONLY to your phone - than the usual way. Only now, you don't have to sit and stress and wonder if you should release the tickets you have to try for something better.
I hated it at first, but now I kind of love it?
Of course, I might hate it if I don't get my one ticket across all dates in 3 price levels lol. And in that instance, I'd hate it because I feel like I'm not in control of the situation and assume that "I could have gotten one the normal way."
But I do like this.
It did make me regret, however, that I allowed my ICON membership to lapse so long ago. I do have a Citicard (I got one, and an AmEx specifically for concert presales) so that helps my chances at least, but I do sympathize for those who have to wait for Group 3. That's no different than any pre-sale though.
I haven't missed a Madonna tour since 2001, so here's hoping!
I agree with you. I like the idea (now) of smaller venues. I agree too that was best way to handle the limited amount of available seats. I’m not Legacy (just a lowly Classic) either. Unfortunately, I do not have a Citi card. So I’m in the public group.
I requested again when more dates opened up Monday afternoon. I requested all but the two top tiers (Medellin VIP and Crave VIP) for all 12 dates, but I’m pretty certain those first 6 dates were no longer available by then. I fluctuate from being super optimistic to being convinced I have little to no chance. I guess we’ll see.
I did note that a limited amount of tickets will be available in a public on-sale. If I still don’t have a ticket then, I’ll try for other cities when they become available.
People are starting to get confirmation emails tonight. It appears it’s mainly people who requested travel packages Monday morning. I have to think those had to be uber-expensive.

You're a better fan than I am. After waiting over four hours for her to grace the stage during the Rebel Heart tour and then eliminating my two favorite songs from the setlist, I said no more Madonna concerts. I hope all of you get your tickets. I suspect this tour will be heavy on the new cd, which of course I will buy, but judging from the first single.....HATE.
Yes, I believe the travel packages are getting confirmation. Those were not a good value. I prefer to book my own travel. Crossing my fingers for everyone here :)

Yes, it appears only Chicago travel packages are confirmed so far. Anyone know how much those were? I figured they would be uber-expensive plus I have lots Hilton points & Delta Skymiles so prefer to book my own. Still hoping for the best. This wait is getting to me. I’m ready to know something.
My card was just charged for my Madonna ticket but I’ll have to wait till I get the confirmation email to know what date so I can start booking flights, hotel, and figure out what shows I’m going to see on that short trip. Excited!
TotallyEffed said: "Oh my, I have two mystery charges too! About $45 more than they said they would charge...interesting. I hope I got tickets."
Mine was $7 more too. But then I looked and saw that there is an additional $7 fee (for one ticket) they mention in the email from last week so you might look to see if you have something similar on the email you got after you submitted your request last week. With the seven dollars added it comes to the exact amount cited it in my email for the range that I was awarded.
In Madonna related news, she released another new song today, “Future”. And I’m sorry but it’s one of the worst songs she’s ever put her name on. This album is shaping up to be another MDNA, where I only listen to about 3 songs from it.
I know the songs she has released from this album so far have all defied expectations. Each time I don’t really like it much at first then after a few listens, I like or live it. So far, I think I like Crave and Future the most actually.
Jordan, I hate to break it to you, but she has said the concert will be 70% music from this album. We will be at there the same night. Where are you sitting?
