Prior to "The Prom", I had never heard of her.  She was fabulous as "Angie" when I saw the show in Dec. 2018.  With this clip, you get a glimpse of her many shows.  I was especially thrilled to see her dance a bit of "Hot Honey Rag" from "Chicago", in this clip.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCqti__KFQI

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

She’s been a presence on Broadway for decades. One of the countless Broadway dancer-actors who’ve worked extensively since the 1990s. Anyone following Broadway since then is quite aware of her and her work.

I was so impressed with her when I saw The Prom that I looked up to see if she’d done any podcast interviews. Here’s one from 2015: she’s had an amazing career! https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/broadways-backbone/id1083130024?i=1000362654273

I loved her in The Prom.  I also had the chance to see her as Ulla in the Producers.  I am pretty sure she was in the dancing ensemble of "Crazy For You" alongside Beth Level -  I mean, what a career.  I was really pulling for a Featured Actress nomination for her.

I had seen Angie over the years in multiple shows.
When I checked my phone at intermission of The Prom there was a comment from her on my Instagram. Turns out she had gone to undergraduate school with a friend who was in graduate school with me. They were actually sort of chatting to each other on my post about going to The Prom.

I got to talk to her after the show and she's very lovely woman in person as well. What a career she's had and it's so terrific that this role of Angie was written for her.

I love these. Curious how they get these dancers to do these "Dancing Through My Resume"?

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

What I always wonder is how much memory goes into the routines. Some of the shows are in this series are from a very long time ago. Or as trained dancers, does the muscle memory take over and the perform the snippets with very little rehearsal?

For Angie though I have to agree with the YouTube comments that the all black outfit against an all black background was not a good choice. Too hard to see intricate movements.

The media outlet sends a request to the press agent like any other press appearance?

I was quite amazed at the memory for all this choreography (Angie's first Broadway show was 1991-93!), but I do think that a lot of it is just in the dancer's body. And specifically for Angie - I think she spent a long time in some of these shows. She played Ulla the longest on Broadway. Another fun fact: Angie replaced in original Broadway production of Crazy For You (she mentions that she overlapped with Beth briefly) and she was part of the 25th anniversary concert in 2017 starring Laura Osnes and Tony Yazbeck! So that choreography was probably more fresh in her mind.

I was delighted to see that Angie got a Chita Rivera Award nomination for Best Female Dancer on Broadway.

Angie says she won't be in the movie of The Prom. "They're getting movie stars!"
