I'm aware at her failed Broadway attempt years back...

Could she pull of playing Aurora in Kiss? She can dance, she can sing (a little), she does very well in live performances- that tend to be very theatrical.... BTW Chita is and will be Aurora for ever..... Thoughts?

Just no , it’s as simple as that . No

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

I would say, strongly, NO. However, I thought she was pretty good in the film version of EVITA.

Honestly, I don't ever see this musical being filmed as a motion picture.

Quick story, when I was in high school back around 92-93 we were in class. We had a very young female teacher and the in class phone rang. She answered and immediately started bawling. She ran out of the classroom and we thought she said “Madonna died”. We were all in shock! Remember around this time Madonna was the hottest act in rock/pop. Vogue just came out. So everyone is sitting there in silence. About five minutes later the teacher comes back composed. We immediately asked her about Madonna. She looks at us confused and said “my dog died”.

Goodnight everyone!

I'd love to see Kiss back in either a Broadway revival or maybe filmed for HBO. But, and I say this playing her Medellin track for the 1,000th time, Madonna could never act or sing this role.

Noooo. I am waiting for the Audra McDonald/Alan Cumming/Pasquale revival (Cumming/Pasquale seem like PERFECT casting). Potential swaps for Audra if needed could be Bernadette Peters, Christine Ebersole, Donna Murphy or Catherine Zeta-Jones.

I really don't want Madonna anywhere near this Kiss of the Spiderwoman - Madonna?.

Also, this seems like such an obvious musical to film adaptation. Can it get the Rob Marshall treatment with CZJ?

That's not a terrible idea. I think she could do probably everything but the title number. In fact, I think she'd do well at the part, since there are few book scenes and she's charismatic when simply singing and dancing and strutting.

That said, she would never.

I'm still fascinated by the idea she wanted to replace Natasha in CABARET. However she would've been, what a moment that would've been. If only.

With the right vocal coaching, I think it could be very interesting.  It would sell like crazy so a lavish production would be guaranteed.

Even if they could provide her everything she would want, Madonna wouldn’t commit to any Broadway production. She’s an active mother to twins and 2 at home children so all her projects she’s involved with are fit around their schedules. Even her newly announced concert dates are semi-residences and scheduled with large breaks between cities. She no longer commits to long schedules. She also now resides in Portugal due to her children’s education, so Broadway isn’t happening.  Fantasy or reality.

For a film version, absolutely. However, she has said she’ll never do another film and I believe her. Her last film role was a cameo in a Bond film 17 years ago.
Even though she’s given some awful performances on film she’s also given some truly excellent ones, however everyone always says she’s a terrible actress and writes reviews for her movies before they even start filming. I know that’s always really bothered her and is why she gave that part of her career up.
