No worries, as far as I see it (especially on this board). It's one of those things that once you get the idea in your head, people like us can drive ourselves crazy!
Not to be a nag, but does anyone know about the gunshots in AIN'T TOO PROUD and/or TINA?

Sorry meant to reply earlier - In Ain’t Too Proud it’s the scene where they are on the bus. It is just sound effects and not full volume gun shots.

Great to know! Thanks for the info.

In fact...
Connor's death is not actually depicted and I don't recall any reference to the means by which it occurred.

I do not think in the current version they mention how Conner died (at best vague hinting), but in a cut song, they mention it was an overdose in the woods (A Little Bit of Light). I think the novelization also talks about it more
The same 3 gunshot “moments” from past productions? Are they still believed to be recorded sound effects & not actual blanks fired?
Thanks
Do you think that in the light of this weekend's events and last night, Oklahoma will soften the gun effects in the show? They should remove the shots in the dark scene now especially

Uh, no, they shouldn't.

Gun control onstage but not off it? Seems a little backwards to me.
Forgive my persistence, but...
Now that Bat Out Of Hell as started, can anyone confirm the situation in that?

Yeah, and instead let's just have Curly, Laurey and Jud just have a great big group hug at the end!

Same 3 moments, and as far as I could tell, recorded sound effects. No smoke.

Thank you, very much! Looking forward to, finally, seeing the show on Tuesday night.
I remember when strobe lights were a thing...
I would just advise that if you see an actor on stage with a weapon, there’s a good chance he or she might use it in the context of the show. Are we really at a place now where we need to know about these things in advance of seeing a performance? I hope not.
