I liked Desi as Jenna on the Waitress tour... she's now lately teasing her next project on instagram, did a "first day of school!" post last week but isn't yet announcing what it is. Any thoughts? Could it be Frozen tour (did they start rehearsals last week)? Do we think she could be Anna and Caroline Bowman Elsa?

I honestly thought she'd be the next Broadway Jenna, but people I know who claim to have connections to casting directors have made me think otherwise. This is a far, far reach, but based on what's in development, here are my thoughts? The musical adaptation of 13 Going on 30, The Devil Wears Prada, Josephine, A Sign of The Times. 

Just reading descriptions of these shows is giving me thoughts, but what do I know?  Maybe she could be the next Jenna on Broadway.

She’s going to be a replacement as a starring role in a long running Broadway musical that she hasn’t done before (not Wicked or Waitress) - should be announced soon

Hmm. My thought immediately went to Beautiful. Am I anywhere close haha

“Long running” — Beautiful makes sense, especially considering her talent behind the piano and with vocal impressions.

She also made an insta post with all of her roles as a blonde, she even hints that her next role may be a blonde as well...

 

If it were Chicago, would she necessarily HAVE to be blonde?

Yesterday, I was casually looking through the Playbill Vault and the many Roxie replacements.  I was surprised to see Desi Oakley's name, along with her upcoming start date of May 13th.  

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?'
