OKLAHOMA! Extends on Broadway, With Tickets Available Through January 19 |
Congrats to all invloved! I could see a decent amount of tony wins for this show, so I suspect this will do well through next January.
I would think they would wait until they are able to slap BEST REVIVAL and BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS and BEST DIRECTOR all over the place. That they are announcing this the day before the nominations makes me think they are betting on financial longevity helping them in the minds of Tony voters...

Makes sense. They want people to be able to buy tix now for future performances, and it's going to have a ton of media coverage over the next few weeks.

I expected this AFTER the Tony nominations, but thrilled with the news. I've been telling everyone to see this.

I'm trying to buy tickets for the latter part of the run, but the show I'm trying to buy for has "0 seats available". Are they not available yet? Is anyone having the same issues?

Hoping it would happen, very savvy to announce it the day before the Tonys. They know they have the win in the bag and might as well capitalize on it while it's still hot.

I just hope that there's a day where we see Damon Daunno play opposite Eva Noblezada in Hadestown...

Director Daniel FIsh's re-imagined production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic will remain at the Circle in the Square through January 19 2020.
Producers must anticipate the Best Revival TONY Win seems likely for the extension! Cool!

I’d be curious to hear what you think about it afterward. I’m in the exact same boat as you and have been thinking of adding it on to my August trip, but am not 100% sold on it, yet.

Will the cast have to sign new contracts? That is, do you think they'll all sign on through the end of the extension? I'm glad I have more time to see it but I'd prefer to see this cast given the raves.
