I just ended up with cancelled plans from friends. Im not far from Times Square. I was curious if anyone had a recent east rush experience on a Saturday. Im not picky on the show and am just a single person. Preferably a musical. Im fine going to multiple theatres but would love some guidance as to where to go first. Should I just check Ticketmaster and see how many seats are left for some shows? Or is last minute tickets from Stub Hub the way to go?

Beetlejuice has during the week later in the day, but I don’t know about the weekend. Someone has an extra burn this lotto ticket they’re selling In another post. Avenue Q will likely have rush available still if you haven’t seen it or want to see it again before it closes.

Thanks! I didn’t even think of checking the buy/sell board. Great idea! Any other experiences?

King Kong is an easy rush as well.

I thought about King Kong but it honestly would’ve been my last resort. I was going to try Tootise, Pretty Woman and Beetlejuice first.

If you know those are your top three, I’d just walk up to the box office of each one and ask about rush/standing room until one tells you “yes.”

Were you able to get rush tickets for a show? If so, which one?

Aw. I’m an idiot. I saw that, but thought it was another poster saying they got good seats at BMC close to showtime. Didn’t realize it was the OP. Apologies for being so dense.

Have fun! What seats did you get? Some people seem to be getting partial view, others full view. I got far right obstructed view seats on Wednesday. My tickets were from the digital lottery.
