Hmmm. Is The Ferryman supposed to be a limited run? Their grosses keep going down, and they’ve been on TDF for a while now.

Seems everyone got a nice bump and/or was in the black for Spring Break week.

THE FERRYMAN numbers are looking dim though. Hopefully nominations will give it a bump, but the play field is so wide so we shall see

That The Ferryman and Constitution are grossing just about the same, while the former's operating costs must be astronomically higher is interesting. (Of course, it's also been open for much longer I know, but still.)

As of now it closes in July

Wow! Both Hamilton and Lion King surpassed the $3 million mark. I understand Hamilton does it almost every week but great to see Lion King can still get up there (ok ok I understand they Disney musicals all had 9 performances this past week but still!)

I know that if you only look at Tootsie’s grosses, it looks good and I know percentages aren’t the be all - end all, but I do suppose that there are more expenses that accompany a larger theater. Hoping reviews this week help.

Two thoughts:
1) Pretty Woman being up 13 dollars from the previous week really made me laugh
2) Frozen only making 73% of its gross potential, despite the other two Disney shows being well above 100%.

Do we think Rudin will pull the plug early on Gary or Clinton? Those seem to be the only shows in danger of closing.

Hadestown gross went up, despite losing lots of ticket sales to opening night. If their dynamic price increases work, I bet it might clear $1mil in the next few weeks.

The Hadestown discount codes ended already and when they were available they were eligible until May 12th. I can see Hadestown definitely increasing its grosses in May for sure.

The Pretty Woman $13 increase amused me too! They gotta be worried about that. Even with the spring break there was no boost, which I guess means it’s a show that doesn’t really skew that young.

Also crazy how much Wicked and Phantom went up from last week!

I’m thinking Beautiful might have to start pulling a Waitress and do some star name casting for its next Carole!

I don’t think he’ll pull the plug on either, especially since both are limited. If anything, maybe Gary might end a few weeks early but I think they’ll both make it to the end of their runs.

Pretty Woman’s attendance was up, but it’s paltry rise indicates that it is at risk of closing  soon...

Frozen is pretty odd from a financial perspective - it has been an amazing hit by normal standards (Most producers would kill to be in the Top 10 every week for a whole season!), but a bit of a disappointment by Disney megamusicals standards. Attendance and earnings were their best since Christmas (although a lot of it was due to the 9 show week), but the $2.4 million potential this week seemed a bit unrealistic (that’s $1 million more than it made last week). I expect things to pick up a bit as the Frozen 2 hype kicks in, but this is a blow to its chances of making the 1000 show mark, which is probably the main indicator of whether it has succeeded or failed...

Does anyone want to take a guess at Pretty Woman's weekly nut?

It hasn't been doing as well lately, but unless things rapidly go downhill, I would be surprised if it closed before Labor Day. (That being said, weirder things have happened and I'm no expert!)

It depends how badly they are limping but I don't expect either to make it past the Tonys unless something unexpected happens there. Give credit where due: taking risks on fresh voices on Broadway is beyond commendable. I just don't think Broadway audiences know what to make of Gary, and I just don't think very many people are interested in seeing the Clintons, real or fictional.
