There's not a lot of options they'd stick her in this summer. Maybe as a summer sub for Vivian in Pretty Woman? Finally as Jenna in Waitress?

I would LOVE to see her as Jenna!  I saw her as Carole King last July, and she was really good - I could easily see her pulling off another Jessie Mueller-originated role.  I could also see her doing something in The Prom or Wicked (she has the voice and looks for Nessarose, but I don't know whether she'd do a show where she's on stage so little).  She might also just go back to Beautiful and give it a summer boost.

She would be a wonderful Jenna, and since we don't know who will be in the role after Shoshana (right?), I will hold out hope!

I think she would be a great replacement for Laura in My Fair Lady although sources say that Alicia Witt is more than likely taking over the role and Dominic West is being considered to take over for Harry.

Honestly, I would not be opposed to Melissa stepping in as Jenna! I think she'd be awesome (however, I did not see her as Carole King so I have no idea about her voice). I also noticed that mezz prices have gone up, and while you can get discounts through discount sites like BroadwayBox, mid mezz is around $79-$99. Could a big name be coming in after Shoshana?

I had seen the Supergirl/Flash musical crossover, and I knew she had a pretty head voice, but I was thrilled during the Act I finale of Beautiful when she broke out her belting - and she sounded INCREDIBLE!
