Band's Visit Question#1
Posted: 4/3/19 at 11:25pm

Can someone tell me what it says on the projection at the end of the show?  I recall it was both in Hebrew and Arabic but I can't find out anywhere what it says?  Thanks if you can help.

My memory is awful so I could be misremembering, but wasn't there only just a projection at the start of the show? I remember at the end, Dina repeats "You probably didn't hear about it, it wasn't very important", the band starts the concert, cut to black, then curtain call/encore.

Hi, my memory isn't the greatest either, but I have seen the show twice and I recall a projection at the very end, with the Band in front of it.  The letters are in Hebrew and Arabic as I recall.  I even wrote to the Production company to no avail.  Thanks for writing, hoping the mystery can be solved!  LOL

Maybe you are thinking of the sign during the Concert at the end? The large decorative circle in purple and green? (ETA: I figured out how to add this picture.)

It says "the Arab Cultural Center of Petah Tikva" in Arabic (al-markaz lil-theqafa al-arabiya bi-Betah Tikfa) and Hebrew.

Band's Visit Question

At the beginning there's also a projection in both languages but that's just "please turn off your cell phones." Not so interesting, haha.

I believe the only projections that appear in English, Arabic and Hebrew are the turn off your phones before the show starts.

When the show starts this is projected:
“Once not long ago, a group of musicians came to Israel from Egypt. You probably didn’t hear about it. It wasn’t very important.”

Which is also the last line of the show, Dina says it as she’s closing the cafe doors.

Not at the end of the show, but towards the end of the show, during “Answer Me” they have the translation of the phone call projected as well.

Thanks!  That must be it for sure!

Mystery solved. Appreciate the information.

Love this show so much.
