Has anyone out there seen the understudies/swings for To Kill a Mockingbird? If so how are they? Does Jeff Daniels understudy have a set show day like in Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen?

No, there is no alternative for Atticus.   I'm not sure if I've heard of there ever being one for a play.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Curious Incident had an alternate for Christopher, understandably.

Yes, it did - of course!

The original production of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? had an entirely different cast for matinees, which included Elaine Stritch and Kate Reid as Martha and Shepperd Strudwick as George.

More recently, Wayne Wilcox was John Benjamin Hickey's alternate during The Normal Heart (because of shooting commitments for The Big C) and John Dossett was Kevin Bacon's alternate for An Almost Holy Picture. And I know there are other examples I'm forgetting.
