Im seeing a local production (I grabbed a half-priced ticket - $30 - second row center orchestra) for next month in OKC. I saw it on Broadeay and was astounded by the stagecraft and Sharps performance. I told a friend I was seeing it here and he said he saw a regional production in Kansas City and it was horrible. Anyone else see a regional production of this? If so, what were your impressions?

To me, Curious Incident seems like the kind of show that really hinges on the performance of the actor playing Christopher. It wouldn't necessarily surprise me if an actor who isn't up to snuff can drag down the whole evening. That said, regional productions vary wildly in quality and I wouldn't necessarily get too worked up yet.

thealtoslament, I agree wholeheartedly that the show really hinges on the actor playing Christopher and that regional productions can vary wildly in quality. I’m just curious what others’ experiences have been with regional productions of this show.
