Wondering if anyone has done this. The shows that I'm looking to do this for are largely plays and less popular musicals (BMC, Prom, Constitution, Hillary and Clinton).

Thanks!

It’s possible I’ve done it myself. You wait on line for the harder rush and then right after you’ve gotten your ticket go to the other theater. It works if the other show isn’t a hard rush. Good luck!

Prom rush line seemed pretty long when I wandered by on a Saturday morning. There seem to be a lot of online rushes on todaytix that may make it easier to do 2 in case any of those interest you

I did this back in January! The Prom first and then Band’s Visit.

Absolutely! Just did it today actually, which was the second time I’ve done it. Even better, I didn’t get to either box office until well after they opened. Started with getting standing room for Network, then struck out at Be More Chill so I went up to King Kong and came away with a ticket.

Yes. In addition to standing in line for the more difficult ticket first, get that ticket for the evening performance. Matinees are in less demand, so do that as the second rush.

Last week I did To Kill A Mockingbird for the evening, then was able to go around the corner and get standing room for Come From Away for that afternoon. Most people in line were asking about evening availability.

Yes, I did it in January. My friend and stood in line less than an hour on a Saturday for rush tickets for American Son (the more in demand show). We ended up getting two of the last three matinee rush seats (evening rush seats were gone by the time we got to the window). Then we walked over to The Waverly Gallery. There was no line so I just walked right up to the box office and got one evening rush seat (luckily they had evening rush available as matinee was sold out; my friend had no interest in TWG - she saw Phantom via TKTS instead).

Agreed — online rush can be a great option. It's so easy! I've done Rush on TodayTix a bunch (and I actually work at the company now). If you log into the app, you can actually filter by Lottery/Rush to see all of the options available.

Yes, it's very easy to do.  I've done it before several times.
