I'm looking to get tickets for Tootsie in May. With the Playbill/Broadway Box discount code, side orchestra seats are about $130. These start at 5 seats in on the right and left side of the orchestra.

Obviously Tootsie hasn't opened yet, but based on past shows at the Marquis, how is the side orchestra view? Should I opt to go a little further back?

Alternatively, I could do the right or left front mezz.

I wouldn't want to sit at the extreme sides, but close to the aisle should be fine!

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

This would be about the middle of the Right and Left Orchestra. Not quite *extreme*, but getting there.

The farthest right/left aren't for sale through Row J, so I wonder if they're partial view and being saved for rush?

The Marquis has some of the best sight lines on Broadway. Anything that you see for sale on Ticketmaster will be a full view. I have sat side orchestra at the Marquis many times, and have never had a problem!

Probably for the lottery and/or rush. I won the lottery for Escape to Margaritaville, and I ended up in row X in the right orchestra. (It was a little far back, but still a great view.)

I sat extreme side Orchestra for 9-5 and missed half the side of the stage. I do not recommend it.

Has anyone sat in the front row, row A in the center orchestra for Tootise? Tickets are a good price in the front row for the date I can go. I was hoping someone may remember if there were any issues with stage height In the front row? Thanks for your time!

I sat 3rd row orchestra Left and I don't remember the stage being too high. I could see everyone (feet and all) the whole time. I can't imagine row A being bad. The stage isn't high at all.
