Hey, a local theater company is holding auditions for Guys and Dolls and i am planning on auditioning. Im a 14 yr old female and this would be the very first show i audition for and i would like to know what would be a good song and monologue and if anyone had tips for dancing and acting techies for the show. The dance number for audition is Lady Luck and they said they would mainly be focusing on acting and it would be great if people had tips for the acting in that scene. I also need a head shot and resume and i wanted to know if anyone had tips on a good resume and on a place to get a head shot. Also for the show you have to look 16 or older so any tips of how to look older would be nice. Thanks!

If you are auditioning for Adelaid  I'd sing "Somewhere That's Green" from Little Shop of Horrors or "I Can't Say No" from Oklahoma.

If you are auditioning for Sarah I'd sing "Many A New Day"  or "Out of My Dreams" from Oklahoma.

If it's just one of the girls in the night club numbers sing "Let Me Entertain You" from Gypsy.

Buy a copy or look on line for BACKSTAGE they have ads for headshot people.

Get a copy of the play GYPSY or THE SOUND OF MUSIC and find a short monologue .
