hi!! so i have auditions for "heathers" next week, and i'm going for either veronica, chandler, or martha. i'm an alto, and i can go up to mezzo-seprano, depending on the song. i need songs though, it's also a double-audition for into the woods (i'm going for little red riding hood), so i'm singing two sixteen-bars. i was thinking any of these...

"carrie" - carrie

"i'd rather be me" - mean girls

"apex predator" - mean girls

"once you see" - carrie

so as you can see i don't have much that would work in my favour. i don't want to make the mistake i did at my very first audition and sing a song from a popular musical (i sang "requiem" from dear evan hansen) but i'd like a song with easily accessible sheet music. could someone maybe reccomend some good audition songs for me?

Not sure if the sheet music's easily available, but maybe "Not Your Seed" from The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals. Its highest note is a high D, and the song is really good.

funny you recommend that! i just watched it for the first time today, and it "not your seed" was one of my favourites. and i found sheet music! thanks :)
