Tootsie or Moulin Rouge? |
I guess it depends on what kind of show you guys would want to see. One thing to consider is that Moulin Rouge is part of the next season, so depending on how well it does, it may be around a little longer than Tootsie. Remember, Kinky Boots is closing to make room for it - they're probably going to try to keep the show around for a while, especially with the good reviews it got out-of-town.
-Jeff Bowen's worst onstage line flub.
I also saw Moulin Rouge in Boston, and I think it's probably the perfect show for girls of that age.
Once you convince the girls (of this lie), buy tickets to Tootsie and Moulin Rouge.
Honestly, I would go at it by looking at the seats on the date you have to work with and pick which one has the better seats at a better price. I noticed in looking for tickets for my birthday in July that as much as I want to see Moulin Rouge myself, it was gonna mean paying $150 for a back of the balcony seat on all the dates I looked at. Your budget might be the make or break here in this choice.

Lol! TBH, I wasn’t thrilled when they chose Frozen, but I’ll humor them. It’s their trip. I’m glad they’re letting me choose one though.
I'd avoid "Frozen" but I understand you don't have a choice.
I haven't seen "Moulin Rouge" but "Tootsie" was absolutely wonderful. The cast, the script, the songs. I'm looking forward to seeing it on Broadway. If its improved even just a bit, it will be amazing. Plus, just watching Santino Fontana excel in a starring role , makes this show a must see.
See both and wait for FROZEN in London...

If you must see Frozen, then my choice between the two would be Moulin Rouge. Nothing against Tootsie, but Moulin Rouge is an amazing show - the set alone is almost worth the price of admission - and the girls will enjoy the contemporary music that they will, no doubt, be familiar with. You probably shouldn't wait too long to make your decision. Tickets for both shows are selling very well.
