On Friday's "The View", host Joy Behar was praising the play "Actually, We're F**ked" at the Cherry Lane Theater off-Broadway.  Went to see it the night before (someone invited her to go) and she loved it - thought it was definitely something everyone should be seeing these days. She encouraged her cohosts and the audience to see it before it closes in a few weeks.

Has anyone seen it? Is it as good as she said it was? The hosts do have a history of pushing people to see 'ehhh' shows which they highly recommend ("Margaritaville", "Summer" and "Head Over Heels"Joy Behar praises 'Actually, We're F**ked' on 'The View', so I'm wondering if this continues their trend.

I bet she knows the TV Producer Matt Williams that's why...also the author.

Exactly.  That’s why I pay no mind to their gushing and praising anything.  Rachel Ray is the worst culprit of this.  Everything to her is the best thing ever.  Blah-blah blah.

She said she did.  She didn’t hide that.  She said it point blank.

Boy did they.  They literally built it up to equal HAMILTON for the holiday season.  They really milked that one.

My apologies for responding so late, but YES she did. She did say she knows him and she was a guest of his. Still she trumped up this show, saying how everyone needs to go and see this. And as someone else pointed out - "Ruben and Clay's Christmas Fiasco" was also heavily promoted on the show, as discussed a few months ago.

Back to my question - has anyone seen this show "Actually We're F**ked", and is it as good as she claims?

Considering 75% of the seats are empty for tomorrow.....I don't think so.
