Looks like some seats in the rear mezzanine are $33. For example, P 4. I accessed the available dates/seats through the website (not Telecharge) and it was easy enough to search by the $33 price and date.
I feel it gets you in to see the show and the main attraction is King Kong. Mr. Kong is huge, you can't miss him, he alone is worth the price. I saw this musical and felt for poor Mr. King Kong. He was used and abused and in my mind a role model.
If I didn’t all ready have to tickets to other shows I would pay $33 to see Kong again. I didn’t hate it. Yes the songs and book are “ meh.” The 2 leads also were, but when Kong is out it was amazing. The movement, the expressions, I felt sad for him. The Lumpy character was all right and Fake Carl, and there where some great visuals like the boat sailing and the very first opening moments. $33 would be worth it to see it again.
