I think it would be a neat idea to have all the stars who portray a super hero to help host the next Oscar cast.. Just think, Iron Man, Batman, Wonder Woman, Black Panther etc announce and introduce all the nominees!
The Oscars air on ABC, which is owned by Disney, which also owns Marvel (but not DC). So anything of this nature would be Marvel-related. The Oscars reportedly tried to get all of the Avengers reassembled together onstage this year after the traditional host situation backfired, but it obviously didn't work out.
Great idea! These superhero films constantly get overlooked and no one knows about them so this added publicity for the 28th thru 32nd superhero films we've seen get released in the last 6-7 years would be crucial to them having any chance of making a profit. Whereas, the smaller, more original comedies and dramas get so much damn attention already, it's about time we put them on the back burner. They don't need any help earning their billion worldwide.
Niles Silvers said: "Why not have a Disney character, say Snow White for instance, to come in and interact with the audience and perhaps do a number with a male star?"
I love it. Snow White comes in, announces in honor of her appearance on the Oscars, she's changing her name to "So White" and at the end of her big musical number, she pulls off her mask and it's Kevin Hart.
