They did a pretty funny skit last night based in a bodega bathroom that was the spiritual successor to the Les Mis spoof from last year. Good stuff.

Had a feeling this would be coming last night. It was truly insane in every way and I loved every second of it!

So funny!! I loved Diner Lobster last year and I figured they'd do some sort of follow up with Mulaney hosting again. And after last night I think I might not get tired of this one, even if they keep doing versions of it! As there's so many musicals they could draw from– I don't know quite the scenario it would fit but "It's a hard-knock life" could be funny, for one.

Mind-blowing they first rehearsed that sketch less than 24 hours before it aired!

What’s impressive is with all the sketches the cast has to learn (they actually do more sketches at dress rehearsal that are cut), this one featured different musical homages so it was complex.  Kudos to that SNL cast.

This sketch had me laughing the entire time- a rarity for SNL these days. The whole episode was very strong, thanks to Mulaney and Bill Hader.

Love the specificity of the jokes and the seamless mashing up of musical tunes.

"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
