This comedy on the Comedy Channel is nailing it with it's portrait of a young gay struggling actor second guessing himself and coming to terms with his sexuality. Great cast, a fresh idea and funny!

Which is only one of the plot lines and handled really well. That show makes me laugh out loud and will take some of the sting out of Broad City finishing up at the end of this season.

Yes, there are other plot lines but the gay character is the protagonist.

Helene Yorke is a highlight as well as the confused roommate. Great show. Comedy central is putting out great content these days. I’m also loving Corporate.

I actually don't think of Cary being the protagonist. Brooke gets more screen time.

It is not about screen time. It is in the writing. I hope gay men know about this show because the satire it hilarious.

...'Ya mean like writing the title of the show, where they mention the "Other TWO"? (sorry - just yankin' your chain a bit!)

I watched the pilot based on your recommendation. It's a cute show, but more than anything else, I was surprised by how far non-subscription TV has come regarding language that's now allowable (p*ssy was never a word I would've expected to hear in its undisguised context).

RE: a show that's a "portrait of a young gay [...] second guessing himself and coming to terms with his sexuality", I feel that Australia's Please Like Me is a better show (and the gay character actually is the protagonist). wink

The Other Two is good, and if you like that show, check out Please Like Me, also.

PS:

I also think that if a show is going to include a pedophiliac character, it's time to put more thought into finding/writing the humor than just assuming pedophilia, by itself, is "funny".
