You think redoing the whole tax code is easier than just appropriately funding something that should be funded?
Yes it is and should not be hard to fix IMO. My goodness, 11.2 billion is drop in the bucket for a country that spends over 4 trillion dollars a year. We are already over 22 trillion in debt so are we really going to be concerned about this amount of money. Get off your butt Congress and get this done.
its been SEVENTEEN years?! how have they not gotten thru all of the claims yet? 19,000?! thats insane.
40,000 claims at 17 years is about 2,300 claims a year. Break that down weekly and its about 45 claims per week. That... doesn't seem like that much to get through? What system are they using?
