Hi! I wanted to start a new chat board for the Alice By Heart rush since one hasn't been made yet. I'm gonna be in New York in a few weeks and am definitely gonna try and see the show. I just want to gauge the rush line so I know what time to get there. I know this one is a little different than usual since they sell them two hours before the show instead of when the box office opens. If you have a rush experience, please feel free to share!

You don't need to rush this show, it's not that popular.  If you are under 30, you can get 30 dollars tickets in advanced.  If you do rush, you won't have any problem getting a ticket.  Ticket sales were strong until people started sharing reviews (here and on social media), so you will be fine. March 12th and on there are a ton of seats.

The main rush for the show is on TodayTix, which offers $25 tickets. According to the MCC website, the $30 in-person rush is only for those 29 and under, 65 and over, and neighbors. I believe all the TodayTix seats are in the front row, but I'm not sure where the others are.

Well, it just extended for the second time, so irs not limw ticket sales are awful.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Thanks for the heads up on the extension—I was able to get a ticket for April so I’m not dependent on rush. I’ve been checking todaytix rush for several days and tickets are always gone within 10 seconds and on sunday they had no rush at all. If you are a senior, neighborhood local or under 30 and qualify for their rush I’d be surprised if you had to get there much quicker than the 2hrs before that they start selling rush.

For what it's worth, I was able to snag an in-person rush ticket for this past Wed matinee 5/10min after 12pm. The box office woman couldn't have been nicer and put me in the second row. Granted, it had snowed the day before and she did comment on a lot of subscribers cancelling because of it. I just wish the girl next to me, texting under her jacket for 75% of the show, stayed home as well...
