We always talk about individuals who have EGOTs or getting close to EGOT status, but Im curious if there are certain entities or pieces of theatre that have an EGOT in some form.

That’s a pretty tough order to fill because actors attain this by winning awards for different projects throughout their careers. They don’t achieve the EGOT from the same project.

A theatrical production would need to have won an Emmy Award for a television production or appearance; a Grammy Award for its cast recording/soundtrack; an Oscar for Best Picture for its film version and a Tony Award for Best Musical.

This is a deleted wikipedia page that tried to answer your question:

They named Lion King, Wizard of Oz (included Wicked), etc to show franchises that had won all four awards.

Ben Platt and Cynthia Erivo are the only ones that come to mind, assuming the potential film adaptations of DEH and TCP come to fruition.

The Sound of Music:  Tony Award:  1960 Best Musical; Emmy 2014 (best technical direction) Grammy - 1961 Cast Recording; Oscar - 1965 Best Picture.  Technically, the Grammy went to Rodgers & Hammerstein.

If we’re talking wins in any category at the respective awards and considering source material, Disney has several shows that are an Emmy away: Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Aladdin, and Mary Poppins.

Les Misérables, Chicago, Evita, Dreamgirls, West Side Story, A Little Night Music, Cabaret, The Music Man, and (if considering source material) Once, The Producers, and Promises, Promises are an Emmy away.

Dear Evan Hansen, The Color Purple, Gypsy, The Wiz, Hairspray, and Annie are an Oscar away.

Sweeney Todd and The Sound of Music have EGOT.

(There are several others, right?)
