I've seen him in 'A Chorus Line' and 'On the Town' and was very impressed. His singing & dancing were superb. He's doing the American Songbook Series right now after having done 'Prince of Broadway' last year. I hope he's back on the boards someday soon. Anyone else a fan?
Yes, I am a fan of his, AADA81! His dancing in both On The Town and Prince of Broadway were wonderful, I thought. And the clip I saw of the American Songbook Series looks great as well. I’m sure he will be back on the boards in a show very soon-he has it all- looks, dancing, singing and can act! And before anyone here says something like, “can’t you gush over him a little more?”, I’ll save you the time- yes, I do have a crush on him!- but he is great.
One of the most talented men ever. A triple threat if there ever was one. The highest level of triple threat. And, in my opinion, the most beautiful guy on Broadway too.

He's about to star in a one-night only concert of THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL later this month!
I can see where some might think he's bland, but one can't deny he's skilled AF, a true triple threat and him and Sutton are probably the only ones that are right now. I saw him in P of B and that tap break of his made me exhausted just watching.
I agree he's a triple threat. He's a solid actor, his dancing is superb and, quite honestly, he has one of the best tenor voices I've ever heard on Broadway. The singing is what really blew me away when I saw OTT because it was so unexpected.

Agree. Speaking of, Sutton's got to return to Bway soon!
He’s quickly become one of my favorites and I will see him in anything. He’s one of our true triple threats. His American Songbook concert last week was terrific, especially his duet/tap number with Clyde Alves. I wish he did more longer running things these days but I don’t feel like his talents fit a lot of the newer musicals.
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.
Yes, he's very, very talented. First time I saw him was in 1990 in the "Gypsy" revival with Tyne Daly. He was one of the newsboys.
It's sad that the announced National Tour of "On The Town" that he was going to headline, along with the Broadway bound revival of "Crazy For You" never happened.
He was the best thing in Prince of Broadway although he seemed to be having some vocal problems which was unusual for him...I find him to be rather sexy.
Tony's career seems to be taking off since On The Town. I would think that it's pretty prestigious to lead off solo the American Songbook. It probably helped him as well starring in the one night anniversary production of Crazy for You, along with Laura Osnes and Rachel Bloom. There was just crazy energy in Geffen Hall and I think that Yazbeck stole the show. See him bound on to the stage to a big ovation at curtain call.
I imagine that there were a lot of friends and colleagues of Stroman there that night, and a year ago she workshopped the show with Yazbeck and Osnes and I thought whatever Stroman wants, Stroman gets. But this didn't happen. I suppose it could still happen.
Getting the starring role in Scarlet Pimpernel, although only one night again another plus. And if you're impulsive he's going to be appearing along with Elizabeth Stanley in Michael Feinstein's show celebrating the career of Liza Minnelli on Wednesday night at Zankel Hall, which you probably know is the recital hall at Carnegie Hall.
It's almost sold out, unless they release some seats tonight or tomorrow, with contiguous seats only in the last row. But It's not a very big venue.
These are from his October appearance with Osnes at 54 below, and the last the finale and extended curtain call from Crazy for You.
A talented song and dance man with a gift for broad comedy in an age where those abilities aren't in the greatest demand. Not many Crazy for You shows out there. But he led off the Songbook Series, which means some people think that his singing is better than advertised.
I think that he's done all right in limited chances to show his dramatic acting ability and he'll get some more.

So true. I loved him in OTT. That voice! Especially when he belts "Lonely Town." What a magical show. The quintessential New York musical.
I would love to see him as Bobby Child. I wish that had happened. And still hope that it does.
He definitely has that old-fashioned kind of sensibility. Would love a revival of Singin' in the Rain with him too.

Caught The Beast in the Jungle at the Vineyard theatre and glad you mentioned this show. Yazbeck was in top form.
