Because this got the most interest and seems to be the most anticipated show, I think they will drop the casting news on Monday morning.
Do better Second Stage!
Just got an email saying that Next to Normal will also be 90 minutes, no intermission. They are about to cut so much.
I wonder who else will play the other Goodmans...

The original cast! Plus Lawrence Clayton, Tamika Lawrence, Isaac Powell, Amy Spanger and Pearl Sun.
I dont know how to make this clickable (sorry!) but they announced Next to Normal casting!
Wow! so jealous of all who will be there tonight for this OBC Reunion. https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/Anthony-Rapp-to-Direct-Alice-Ripley-Aaron-Tveit-Jennifer-Damiano-and-More-in-MUSICAL-MONDAYS-NEXT-TO-NORMAL-20190325
If second stage had allowed non subscribers to be there tonight, I was first in line to buy tickets (literally) but to announce this the day of the concert.... it’s like one punch after another. I’m so upset right now. I’m sure I’m not alone in this. Not being able to see my favorite show, a show I saw 6 times... it stings.
The announcement of these casts has been so poorly handled.

First we heard that the shows wouldn’t use any original cast members, and now this show, the most anticipated one, is using the entire original cast. It’s really just rubbing salt in the wound.

I mean yeah it sucks, but what would’ve announcing it earlier had done for you? Handled poorly sure but they never said they weren’t using original casts, that’s just what Jason Robert Brown seemed to have just slightly mention.
I will never understand why this is being held at Second Stage and not AT LEAST at the Hayes. The demand for this far exceeds a tiny 200 seat theater.

Look at it as an incentive to become a high-level donor ($3,000+) or subscriber. It's a way of saying thank-you to the people who have consistently supported Second Stage throughout the capital campaign and the acquisition of the Hayes –– many of whom were probably around when they produced the original run of N2N.
When they held this show back for subscribers only,I had a feeling this would be special. So I took a chance and bought a two show subscription just to be able to get a ticket. I’m so glad I did. I never saw the original cast, so this will be a treat.

I am confused as well, and I agree it was planned so poorly. This could have played to a much bigger theater, but maybe they wanted a very intimate, special performance. Have a great time tonight for all who are going!

The 3 biggest moments, that I sensed, were Aaron and Jenn singing “How Could I Ever Forget?” (you actually saw Alice and J Robert Spencer tearing up after that was performed), Alice singing “I’m Alive” (she sounded great and got a midshow standing ovation), and the most special (and expected) part was at the end when the OBC sang “Light” and the rest of cast joined in.
I was also lucky enough to stagedoor last night. I guess cause the show was a “subscriber only” show, there were only about 10 people waiting, which shocked us all, but we weren’t complaining since it wasn’t bombarded by stans/tweens. The entire cast came out, signed, and took pictures. The OBC were nostalgic and talking about how special the night was and how they all couldn’t believe it’s been 10 years. Honestly, it was wonderful special night.
Last night was unbelievable. I actually preferred that they mixed it up and had everyone sing each others' songs as well as the deep cuts. It made it feel special to hear things in a way you couldn't in a production. It was also really sweet to watch the cast watching each other sing. They were all totally engrossed.
This was the full set list:
1. Feeling Electric - Bobby Spencer
2. A Promise - Adam Chanler-Berat
3. Live Every Day - Louis Hobson and Tamika Lawrence
4. I've Been - Tom Kitt and Alice Ripley
5. Didn't I See This Movie? - Jenn Damiano
6. A Light In The Dark - Adam Chanler-Berat and Jenn Damiano
7. You Don't Know/I Am The One - Lawrence Clayton, Amy Spanger, Isaac Powell
8. I Miss The Mountains - Aaron Tveit
9. Perfect For You - Bobby Spencer and Pearl Sun
10. Superboy and the Invisible Girl - Tamika Lawrence and Isaac Powell
11. So Anyway - Pearl Sun
12. Open Your Eyes - Louis Hobson
13. How Could I Ever Forget? - Aaron Tveit and Jenn Damiano
14. I'm Alive - Alice Ripley
15. Light - All
The things wish i were here2 listed were also highlights for me, along with I Miss the Mountains and Superboy and the Invisible Girl. Tamika sounded amazing. It was also great to hear Feeling Electric again. And the fact that they mixed things up all night made it all the more special when they sang their original parts for Light.
All in all, a wonderful experience. I'm very grateful I got to be there.
