I know this might seem odd to some, but if you are still not completely over Marin Mazzie's death and want to wallow in sadness and indulge in the amazing gift we have been left behind I recommend listening to the following recordings, in the following order. Loosely categorised into different themes.

All tracks performed by Marin Mazzie, except when I specify it's a duet with or solo from her husband, Jason Danieley.

LOVE

1. Happiness - Marin & Jason (from the album Opposite you). From PASSION.

2. So in Love -  (from the Kiss me Kate revival album).

LOSS

3. So Anyway - (from next to normal, no 'official' recording is available)

4. Hello, Young Lovers - (from the King and I revival, no 'official' recording is available)

5. I Miss the Music - Jason (from the Curtains recording)

MOURNING

6. Losing My Mind - (from the 2010 Sondheim Birthday concert). From Follies

7. When There's No One (Carrie revival)

8. Too Many Mornings - Marin & Jason (Opposite You). From Follies.

9. Not a Day Goes By (Opposite You). From Merrily We Roll Along.

COPING

10. Move On - Marin & Jason (Opposite You). From Sunday in the Park with George.

11. Back to Before - Ragtime OBC.

Try to hold back the tears.

With all due respect, please honor her memory by celebrating her work and her life. Your emphasis for your playlist is not only fullout disrespectful to her but also to her family.

I have no idea what you're going on about. This is a list of SOME OF HER AMAZING WORK. Go out and listen to these amazing performances, don't sit there and 'be offended'. Is that all we have learned to do in the 21st century?

The content of your playlist is simply fantastic and definitely her best work. Your descriptions of how to use them, is not.

Do not mourn her death. Celebrate her life. Her family as would Marion herself, want it this way.

If you're talking about respect and celebrating her life, why don't you spell her name correctly? Simply a suggestion.

I didn’t fix the auto-correct.  Thanks for validating this post with that.  Marin is smiling this is even taking place.  Time to move on, kiddies and let this nonsense go.  It’s run its course.

Why is the "timing" your call? If qolbinau wants to grieve with a playlist--and wants to share it with others who feel the same--what is that to you OR Miss Mazie's family? (Somehow I doubt her widower, a fine recording artist in his own right, will object.)

P.S. The scroll bar is our friend.
