Surprised no one here is talking about (or really complaining about) this yet. Seems with this and Jeremy Jordan's recent cover R&H are trying to step into this century.

I kind of love hearing Broadway songs used in pop culture and thinking it's sort of cool that us 'broadway folks' know the history. I did wonder with Ariana's song if people nowadways more associated 'my favorite things' with Christmas than Sound of Music?

I put Julie Andrews and the original song back in with Ariana and added some nice orchestral parts. It's a club mix though so, as I always warn BWW, it's not for everyone.  :)

ari also did a remix sort of cover on "popular" from wicked a few years back. it's called "popular song" by mike ft.ariana grande. 

don't message me thinking im taylor trensch?? what would he be doing on bww?? you can't possibly be that dumb bye
