Only one on the list I'm still personally iffy about is Lear, but otherwise seems pretty solid. Just be sure to program the comedies in between the dramas.
Im struggling with my list (I know a nice problem to have!) my sis-in-law is joining my trip this year and has given me all control of what to see. Im seeing 4 with her and so far we have:
Be More Chill Burn This
Im going to take her to see Waitress (if its stil open) and then Im seeing 3 on my own and so far have TKAM.
Last 3 slots Im deciding between:
The Prom The Ferryman Ink Mean Girls Hadestown Tootsie Puffs (to see a college friend in it)
As a local who sees basically everything, here are my two cents -
Hadestown & Oklahoma! are the two shows I would consider must-sees to anyone. Unless you're really against seeing darker shows, these are two musicals at the top of their game. The Ferryman would be my third choice, and while the other plays (Ink, Lear, Gary) haven't started yet, they seem primed for success.
I personally really didn't enjoy The Prom, but it's apples and oranges. I'd even recommend Be More Chill over it.
Whatever you think you like, you should see! Enjoy.

Can't comment on things that haven't opened yet, but Prom and Ferryman are both good times, I'd rank them above Mean Girls.
thanks for the input here...after reading some of the reviews for TOOTSIE, i might add a 6th show if they work out some of the critiques of the show as is in Chicago...JET BLUE has a fare for under $300, for a direct flight from Palm Springs to Kennedy...i love a bargain!!
