It’s been a few days since the closing of Head Over Heels on broadway & I had time to take it all in. I was front row & wow was it an electric performance. The energy in the room was just amazing! I had seen the show 4 times before but seeing it closing night was like seeing it for the first time. We gave them standing ovations after most of their songs! Bonnie is a STAR & I can’t wait to see what she does next! The whole cast is super talented!!! I’m so sad to see this show go but glad we had a chance to witness it! Was anyone else at the final performance & enjoyed it as much as i did?!
I was front row as well! Best closing crowd I've ever experienced. I miss the show already and I'm PRAYING the Tonys don't forget about Bonnie and Andrew this year. (Also, Taylor breaking on 'our roads shall shortly separate'? OUCH.)
Sorry to bump. Kokandy Productions in Chicago just announced on their Instagram that they will be producing Head Over Heels this summer. Seems like a pretty quick turnaround from Broadway to Regional for a musical!

HOH will return to San Francisco where it had its pre-Broadway tryout. New Conservatory Theater Company announced last week it will be producing it later this fall.
As someone who loved Head Over Heels, I think New Conservatory Theater Company will be a great place for it. It's a small, intimate theater, and a great place to build up a cult following.
Don't get me wrong, I have a huge soft spot for Avenue Q, and I enjoyed NCT's production when I went a few years ago. But it definitely feels like time for them to have a new winter musical.
