Does anyone know when Stephen Christopher Anthony goes on for Evan in the tour? I was just wondering if it was similar to Broadway where there is a different Evan for Wednesday and Saturday matinees. Thanks!

According to my playbill from Denver, he is Evan on Thursday matinee, Saturday matinee, and Sunday evening.

During the one week stop/engagement in Tempe, Arizona last November, Stephen was listed as Evan for the Saturday afternoon and Sunday evening performances.

The length of the engagement likely plays a role whether Stephen is on during one of the weekday performances.

In Los Angeles we saw the alternate Evan and dont feel like we missed a thing. He was great. If it was Alt vs Ben Platt I would have been bummed but all the reviews say both Evans on the tour are great.

Sorry to bump this post, but does anyone have more recent info for different cities? I have a ticket for a Sunday evening and I'm wondering if Stephen is doing Sunday nights in more recent cities?

The tour just ended a two week run in Cincinnati. The program here says the alternate, Stephen Christopher Anthony, plays Evan at Saturday and Sunday matinee performances. I think he basically plays all matinees depending on the schedule in each city...in Cincinnati there are no weekday matinees. I just saw Ben Levi Ross in tonight's Sunday evening show. I did see Stephen Christopher Anthony this past Tuesday (BLR apparently had part of this week off). Both are great...slight edge to Ben Levi Ross for me. Not the least disappointed with either. Having seen the original Broadway cast twice, I was happy to see how well the show holds up without Ben Platt, etc.
The tour cast is uniformly excellent.

I saw it in Chicago and I got a ticket for a matinee specifically to see Stephen, who happened to be out so I ended up seeing Noah Kieserman who was fantastic. I’m sure no matter who you get will be great.

I saw the show in Cincinnati four times over the last two weeks and was lucky enough to see all three Evans, two different Zoes, two Larrys, and two Alanas. This cast is TIGHT, even with all the understudy madness happening this week (BLR on vacation for a week, Phoebe being on vacation, and Maggie McKenna missing a crazy amount of performances for some unknown reason) the show holds up every time. As for Evans specifically I saw Stephen twice, Noah once, and Ben once. Ben was my favorite, then Stephen, then Noah. I think Noah has the foundation to be a spectacular Evan, he just doesn’t go on regularly enough to build and discover, while Stephen and Ben are on all the time. For me, the real stand out in this cast was Jessica Phillips. I’ve admired her work for years, so I was excited to finally see her live, and she never failed to rip out my heart in the best possible way.
