I was wondering how to know if actors at a stage door don’t take pictures, I would hate to ask them and intrude?

Please do not stage door if you didnt see the show. Its super rude to take the time away from actors when you didn't support their hobby and purchase a ticket. You also take time away from the people who just watched the show.

I would check the persons Social Media and look at the different post they are tagged in to see if they have any pictures at the stage door with fans if not then ask the stage door manager.

Also if an actor doesn't pose for pictures, a stage door guard will often make a "no selfies" announcement before the actor comes out to sign.

You are correct, however I just have to point out that it isn’t a “hobby” - it’s their profession.
