Hey guys! I am new to this site and am still trying to figure out how it works. Just had a question, have any of you guys ever worked for a celebrity/broadway star? If so I would love to hear about it, I'm hoping to pursue that. Also, how do you meet these people besides buying VIP meet and greet tickets for their shows? Thanks!
Yes; I have, and still do. But I fell into it by way of meet & greets and having a skill set that was useful (web/social expertise).
"Wanting to work for a celebrity" is a pretty vague goal and there are a hundred roles you could play. Do you have any idea what you actually want to do? Because just wanting to be around celebrities a lot is not the way to make this happen (and if that's all you want, you will not survive working in the industry).
I know a few people who have and they were part time gigs. At the end of the day it sounded like it was pretty much like being a girl or guy Friday for anyone; regardless of whether they were famous or not.
