Does anybody know if Laurel Harris has any planned upcoming performances?

Here we go again. Why do Wicked stans never want to admit that most Elphabas do not perform 8x a week? Yes it’s unofficial and yes there’s no schedule. But come on.

Actually, yes she does. Vosk usually calls out a Saturday or Sunday show, usually matinee but occasionally an evening. Does Vosk do all 4 weekend shows? Rarely, but sometimes. So OP’s best chance of seeing Laurel is probably on a weekend. We all know you love Vosk, but don’t speak on things you have no idea about. 

Anyway, OP, I hope you get to see Laurel. She is truly one of the best to have ever played the role.

I'm no stan but Laurel does not do every matinee which is what that person said. 

Yes Jess typically misses a day a week. Never said she didn't.

LOL. That person said Jess misses most matinees and she does not. She misses evenings just as much. Never said she does all 4 weekend shows even though 2 people insisted I did.

I love Laurel too and probably saw her more than anyone has the past 8yrs she has been with the show. 

So please don't speak on things you have no idea about. :)

just to clarify, as the person who actually HAS seen laurel as elphaba the most of anyone, and as the person who has been to 19 out 20 of her performances this contract...

YES, your best chance of seeing laurel is a weekend matinee, usually a saturday but also sometimes a sunday. she has gone on a few evening performances as well, but usually only when jess has been sick or has had a personal day.

but just for fun, laurel has done 4 weekday performances (when jess had an ear infection) and 16 weekend performances. of the 16, 9 have been matinees, and 3 of those she did both shows. and of the 9 matinees, 5 of them have been saturdays.

so while she doesnt have any planned dates or a typical show, she has historically gone on for the saturday matinee more than any other show. of course there are weeks (like this one) where she doesnt go on at all, but it is rare. if youre really set on seeing her, the understudy board goes up an hour and 15 mins before the show starts. i do hope you get to see her because shes truly incredible :)

Didn't realize you saw her OVER 30x which is only way to be the person that HAS seen Laurel the most as Elphaba. And I know for a fact you only saw her on Broadway and that she hasnt even done 30 shows in both of her Broadway contracts. Thanks for playing though. :)

 

As for the OP it's a win win no matter if you see Jessica or Laurel.

that’s funny since you yourself said in september 2016 that you’d only seen her as elphaba 12.75 times, and you’ve one seen her once on broadway, the only place she’s played elphaba since then, so please tell me how that adds up to 30 times?

and if you’re counting times you saw her in the ensemble, or in other shows, i specifically said as elphaba. i just literally don’t get why you feel the need to lie about something so trivial just because you happened to see her a few years before me?? 

but oh right, it’s not a contest for you. 

again, that said, i hope the OP gets to see laurel because she’s great :)
