Just one staircase each to the right side or the left side, so... whichever is closest to your seat.
Waitress was my friends first Broadway show ever last week. He stagedoored and Sara did come out and even told him it was flippin awesome that it was his first Broadway show.
Sara and Gavin both came out between shows today (Sunday 1/13) too. They were so sweet! They wouldn’t pose for photos but chatted with folks as they signed. Great stage door experience. And of course the show was phenomenal!
I just saw Sara's tweet that she did not come out tonight. Apparently someone in the front row was trying to video during "She Used To Be Mine" and she was rightfully pissed. I hope this doesn't deter her from doing stage door again in the future. Such a bummer on so many levels.

It's not about the "damn smartphones"... it's about the integrity of audience members who know the rules when it comes to phones, but disregard them anyway. Lol

Thank you! Did you go on a week night or weekend? Also how many people were there?
Just trying to see if I should go with the upcoming deal they have for Jan. 29 to meet them after the show or go with the stage door line. I’m leaning towards stage door as I wanted to meet some other member of the cast

I don't know who originally said it but I thought it was great. People today are so worried about recording a moment that don't actually fully enjoy the moment.

This question wasn't directed at me, but I also have recent stage door experience so I will share. I went to the Sunday matinee on 1/13. Both Sara and Gavin came out between shows. Only a few other cast members came out. Two show days are tough, and it was really cold out. There were a lot of people waiting to meet them. The crowd was probably 3-4 people thick all the way around the barricade. I sat in the orchestra on an aisle and got out quickly enough to be right at the barricade. Sara and Gavin took their time and signed for everyone, including multiple items for some people. They chatted with people along the way and were just so sweet and interactive. Neither of them posed for pictures but they let people take pictures of them as they were signing. One person asked to take a picture with Gavin and he said no, because then he would have to pose for everyone and it would take too long. I think it is fairly easy to get discounted tickets through TKTS (I used a discount code to purchase a couple days in advance, but the people sitting next to me used TKTS). I think going backstage would be a cool experience if it's worth it to you. But it is also feasible and a lot cheaper to meet them at the stage door.
