I believe they were the producers. This was a replacement show for Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

I thought I had read on a link earlier in this thread that the cruise ship production was pulled.  But the link you provided is recent.  So I guess it is still on.  Very interesting business model for this show.  But I think it will benefit from beating to its own drum.

Impossible will be glad to know that I am good with it now and I have let it go.  I am hoping that their tickets prices reflect their unorthodox road.

Scandal? I don't think more actors out than you have understudies for qualifies as a scandal.

Well if the show can barely go on it qualifies as a scandal to me.  The queens were definitely worked up about it.  ( I mean the chat board queens.. not the SIX queens. )

I wouldn't call the US productions in Chicago, St. Paul, and Boston a national tour. They're more pre-broadway engagements.

What about the Chicago engagement after the show opens on Broadway? Maybe that could be a sit-down production, but it seems like that could easily go on tour across the US, must like the show has been doing in the UK.

They said in the Chicago announcement that if it does well it’ll be staying there indefinitely, so it is clearly going to be a new cast, but then we have no idea who is in the Broadway cast yet either. I guess they are holding back the announcement in case they get some bigger names for Broadway.

There will be a totally new touring cast for the UK, it won’t be the London cast unless I guess some of them want to go out on tour in which case it’ll be a mixture of old and new.

One would assume the US will be the same and swap people about if they want to.

I did, it was tones of fun. Packed with fans and many doing their own little homages to the Queens. A few were wearing purple shirts with green sleeves, others had on green sunglasses and collars and really it was like people were dressed to hang and have a good time. They went nuts at the end of each number... as was expected...but aside form Sorry not Sorry the crowd was enthusiastic but respectful. I was in the front row and had a blast

American Express presale is on now. Standard pricing is $49-159, premiums are $229-249. Show schedule is Tuesday-Sunday at 8 p.m during previews, then moving to 7:30 p.m. after opening. Matinees will run at 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Has anyone sat in the rear mezz of the Brooks? Was looking at the $49 tickets but I’ve never sat up there. Any insight?

I was up there for Waitress. We were toward the center, which definitely helped. It did feel a bit far, but ultimately we felt like we could see everyone onstage well enough. I probably will sit up there again for Six– which I want to see again (saw it at the Edinburgh Fringe last year) but haven't gotten tickets yet.

It looks like ALL the night shows move to 7:30 from 8pm after opening...not just Sunday
