RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 4

So this show is off to an interesting start. Rooting/watching out for Latrice Royale, Manila Luzon, Naomi Smalls, Valentina and Trinity the Tuck to do very well this season.

Gia Gunn seems to have some kind of villain edit this season which is perfect for her, Jasmine Masters bombed badly and was eliminated by Trinity the Tuck who won the lip-sync, and Farrah Moan slipped during her number and broke down crying about it.

I actually watched this morning on the daily motion website.  This is my first exposure to many of the queens, but I took an immediate dislike to Gia Gunn.  She comes across as the type of queen who always has something to say and it is usually nasty.  I just thought that these girls didn't have the WOW factor as presented in the previous All Star Seasons.  But of course anything is better than that tired Christmas special that was on last week.  Or should I say commercial to buy Ru's merchandise.  Was Valentina singing live or just lip sync?  If live she should have rated better.  She is very stunning as well as Farrah Moan.  Does Monique Heart look like she has lost alot of weight in her face?

And I’m a bit pissed that Jush got the boot instead of Farrah, who will only have more of the same to offer for the one or two weeks she has left.

The Jush was absolutely horrible though. It wouldn’t have been fair to send Farrah home, annoying as she is.

It looks like Farrah is bringing the drama next week so I’m okay with her staying a bit longer.

She was awful but overall, I think she has more to offer.

She failed miserably and that’s the game.

Gia Gunn seems to be this year's Designated Villain -- she's just so transparently vile, choosing only the most vulnerable to undermine.  And she's not even funny.  It's not much fun hating her guts.

So conflicted. I want to be Team Latrice, but Manilla is so compelling too. As for Gia, the preview for next episode makes me feel very strongly that a lot of the bs is just editing, and how she comes off in a medium like this. Jasmine and Kennedy had the same problem in their original season. Gia is really beautiful tho, even her confessional look is so fierce. Excited for this season. Hope they redeem from AS3, which went seriously downhill after Dela left.

Well well -- little Gia Gunn hits bold new lows of obvious blatant assholism in that episode, she's too stupid to see how transparent her attempts at gaslighting and manipulation are.  Great fun when the rest of the queens call her on it.  Clearly the villain of the season.  I suspect she'll be gone at the first opportunity.

Just watched it.  I am really surprised that none of the queens confronted her about the "hag" lyric.  I can't stand this queen.  If anything, it made Farrah more sympathetic.  I did not watch her season so I don't know if she is fake or not.  But this episode, you had to feel for her.  She put her in her place without losing it.  Good for Monique for putting in her pocket change.

FYI, RuPaul was on Alec Baldwin last night and it's wonderful to see a person with such a positive attitude and true sense of self worth. Watch it if you can...as for Baldwin, he's better on podcast/radio and still has to insert himself, at times obnoxiously...

Just from this episode alone I can tell most of the queens hate Gia Gunn as a villain already. Go Valentina for slaying this week!

Gia is a sociopath. Even if its an act, its truly uncomfortable how nasty she is.

Also, I cant stand Valentina. Yes, she turned out a great performance and slayed the lip sync, but she is SO fake, its nauseating. So affected.

Im overall kind of over this season already. The move to VH1 has sapped all of the joy from the show and now it just feels like a standard reality show. Hollow hollow hollow.

Well that was interesting -- I don't think there's ever been such a total team put-down of a single person on Drag Race.  Entirely deservedly, of course.

Last nights episode was fanTAStic! Everything we watch Drag Race for: fierce fashion, successes, failures, great reads, and some genuine suspense. I loved every second of it.

ColorTheHours, you really have a roller coaster relationship with this show huh.

I'm liking this season a lot so far. Hope it keeps up with the expectations.
