I wouldn't miss this cast in The Ferryman. The runtime is not an issue; it flies by. Basically it's about an old tragedy being reopened by the discovery of a body on harvest day for the Carney family. Despite the large cast, the story is very easy to follow.

While The Ferryman is the best of the bunch, It’ll be playing until July (at least) and I don’t think Torch Song, which sadly closes soon, is to be missed.
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

I don't understand what's so special about The Ferryman that people are saying it's a "must see". It's really good but I don't think it's required viewing.
Torch Song is amazing. Some of the best performances I've ever seen, poignant and beautiful and hysterical. And it's closing soon! You'll be able to say you saw it when people reminisce about it ten years from now.
I'd also recommend Torch Song. Such amazing performances and an overall beautiful production that's closing too soon. The Ferryman was very good, but I also agree it's starting to get a little overrated. It's a stunning modern tragedy with incredible performances, but runs a bit long and could be a little confusing at times. Torch Song is also close to three hours but it flew by more than The Ferryman.
I’d also vote for Torch Song as it is closing early and Ferryman is running until at least July. In fact, I just booked my weekend trip to see its closing performance. I'm seeing 4 other shows and Ferryman and (to a lesser extent) The Prom we’re in the running but my friend voted then down so won’t be seeing them.
