I’m glad she was replaced.

That being said, it’s typical of the Weisslers to pull a stunt like having the cast “vote” because they’re too chicken**** to just fire her. I don’t think personnel decisions should be made by a vote.

In that article, she comes across as having little to no empathy.  What has been speculated about her is probably true.

The lack of remorse in her comments is telling. Even if she feels that she was not at fault a long-time cast member killed himself and cited her behavior as the reason. If I ever felt like I might have contributed to someone's suicide I'd feel so guilty.

I’m suprised its taken this long.

Every time I went back to see Chicago and Ms. Stifelman was conducting, which was almost always, the orchestra had no zest. It all felt slow and unexciting. It never felt the same as original musical director Rob Fisher. Whenever there was an alternate, I was glad.
So, as Mr. Loeffelholtz was allegedly told to "move on, it has been over 20 years", etc., perhaps it's time for others to move on. Rob Bowman will be a welcome relief.
