I'm curious to know if they will be incorporating "In the Market For a Miracle" in the stage version or if that's going to remain only in the television version.
I saw it last week in Louisville. It's always in great shape. This is the 4th year this particular non-equity production has gone out (I've seen it 3 out of the 4 years), and it never disappoints. Sadly they never added "In the Market for a Miricle" for the stage show, which is a shame, as it would add some much needed diversity to a very white musical (not to mention it's a fantastic song with a good featured moment). Definitely check out this tour if you have the chance.
Unfortunately, I will not be seeing this year's tour as it is not in my part of the country. But I have seen it every year for the past 4 years and it is terrific every time. Looks like some of the same actors from last year's tour -the Old Man, Jean Shepherd-- but the kids are usually different each year for obvious reasons. Still, I have always enjoyed this tour. If it is in your area, I highly recommend it.
