I am looking to buy tickets to King Kong, and I want the best seats possible. On Telecharge they have "KONGPREM" seats for $399.00 and it is Center Orchestra, Row A. Does anyone know if that is actually a great seat? I'm not interested in hearing whether or not I should spend that kind of money on Kong, I just don't want it to be too close to the stage.
Alternatively, they have Center Orchestra, Row B for $275.00. Which would be a better seat option?
For $125 difference, definitely do Row B over Row A. Generally speaking, the (by far) best part of this show is the gorilla, and the scale of the puppet is more effective the closer you are. But Row B is certainly close enough!
I went with Row B, still ended up paying the $399 each for the four of us going. I'm sure it will be great to see the puppet that close even if its not a great show.
Late to the party- i sually love to sit close and have sat in the front row of almost every show I’ve gone to this year. However for Kong I was convinced to sit in the 2nd row of the mezz and I’m glad I did. It was the type of show that was so grand in scale (obviously) it was easier to take in from a distance. So you asked for the best seat, and I personally think the best seat in the house would be row A- of the mezzanine.

Agree with your decision and think it will be an amazing experience. We’re going in December, Row D, and looking forward to the spectacle that is the $13M animatronics and its accompanying sound effects. To each their own. To me, worth the price of admission - and to you! Enjoy!!
Why is it that, when the OP specifically states "I'm not interested in hearing whether or not I should spend that kind of money on Kong", people can't stop themselves from doing it anyway? With a statement like that, clearly the OP has read the reviews and made their decision.
