Apologies if this was discussed elsewhere but I couldn’t find it. I tried to rush torch song with a friend this morning but the guy at the box office said you miss 50% of the stage with the rush seats. Does anyone have any experience with this?
I mean, it's likely contingent on what day and performance you are rushing. Some people on previous rush threads got closer front orchestra seats that were far right or left, but even then, I don't even this it's possible to have a 50% stage obstruction in a theatre that small.
When I rushed on Halloween, I got Orch Left - P1 and it was full view.
I saw Straight White Men there months back and I arrived a few minutes before for student rush and got row D seat 3. Which was the first row for the side orchestra, was barley obstructed for that show.
