Recent Experience with Come From Away Rush ?? |
I rushed last saturday morning, got in line just after 8. I got the last seated ticket for the matinee (evening were already gone)
I'm not sure it matters what the rush is like right now, since it is going to be extremely busy Thanksgiving week.
Yeah, that is one of the busiest weeks of the year and schools are out, so not sure anything happening now will guarantee a similar experience that week.

Yeah, there are 10 seated and 20 standing for every show. Seated definately go first. Last saturday I'm pretty sure everyone got one or another.
For what it's worth, I was very happy with the veiw from my rush seat. Partial view but you miss nothing plot wise. I have also done standing room and found it a great experience too. I think it just comes down to whether or not you're able to do standing, not everyone is.
I would recommend 8 if you're comfortable with rush or SRO. If you need rush, I would add at least an hour to that.
So they first do the regular rush tickets and sell standing room after? So like 40ish tickets? Would those be hard to get even during the week of Thanksgiving but not actually Thanksgiving or black Friday day?
Rushed today, 28 November '18. Came at 8.54 and was surprised to be only 2nd in line! More people came and at 9.30 the line was only maybe 10 people. When the box office opened it was about 15. I took the evening show, A8 seat. The first person who arrived got an orchestra seat for the matinee.
Yesterday, 11/27 got 2 mezz partial view - last 2 seat row C left (just can't see side you are sitting on - but most action is center so it doesn't matter ... Didn't get in line until 10:05 - and rush was still available. hope this helps ...

Depends on whether or not you want to be sure to get a seat or if you're fine simply getting SRO.
I'd plan to come earlier just because of the holiday week(end). If you can make it by 7am you should be ok, especially if you don't mind SRO.
I got in line at 8am 2 days ago and was one of the last to get SRO. I'd aim for 7/7.30am to be safe.
I may have gotten lucky, but last week I walked up to the box office on a whim, about a little more than an hour before the show, and asked for rush and was able to snag a seat (he even asked how many I wanted, so they had at least 2). I was very surprised!
I rushed this morning (wed, 2 show day). Got into line at 9:25, i was maybe 15 people back. Got a matinee ticket front row all the way house right. I think they were out of pairs by the time I got up, but I loved my single seat. Slightly partial view, I really just missed the stage left half of the orchestra.
