I tried to watch the video on the Funny Girl article when the usual advert comes up. 

It's for Asus but the advert is 25 minutes long a countdown to a live stream launch for a phone.

What the hell?

Only suggestion I can offer......

If you have an ad-blocker, temporarily disable it on this site.  Perhaps that will help.  My ad-blocker is disabled, and the ad I see just before the video is no more than 7 seconds long.
