Selling past dated Mean Girls ticket!

Long story short, I got this ticket back in May but was unable to use it and I’ve since been able to see the show. Mean Girls has a past date policy (I have the paperwork and email to prove it!) where you can contact Jujamcyn Theatres and they’ll try to set you up with a similar seat when there’s availability. When I reached out to them, they said your best bet is a Tuesday or Wednesday evening and to contact them two/three weeks before you want to see the show. My ticket is for Orchestra Row Y.

The ticket was originally about $100, but I’m happy to sell it for $40. I don’t intend to use it, but I’d hate for it to go to waste!

A "past dated" ticket has no monetary value, since there's no guarantee the buyer can ever use it.  If you don't want it to go to waste, then just give it away to someone. Or at the very least, do the exchange yourself and then put an actual confirmed ticket up for sale.

It has monetary value if someone wants to purchase it. An unused ticket that can, at some point, be used for admission to the show does have a value to it and if someone wants to purchase it there’s nothjng wrong with that.

Emphasis on theatre will try based on availability. I'd have to think the chances of the theater at the moment having a spare seat to essentially give up for a past-dated is very slim for the foreseeable future. So I don't really see the "value" yet.

Well I contacted them again and have a seat for October 31st, 7pm. It was very easy to get this date - they gave me six different nights to choose from.

As per your suggestion, I contacted the theatre this morning and was given multiple dates to choose from. I now have a ticket for Wednesday, October 31st @7pm. The whole process was painless and simple. I appreciate your condescension though!
