Even with Pete Davidson's speech, it's really clear that SNL is following the example of Republicans...being hypocrites and having it both ways. I can't even watch it anymore. The endless jokes and normalization of this administration is what got this doofus elected; and I do fear the future.
For example, the Kanye publicity. faux anger, the going off script...SNL and NBC were quick to instantly blast his performance "art" and shenanigans (just two weeks ago). So what are they re-running tonight? Kanye West and Adam Driver.
The media dropped the ball in 2016 and they are doing it again. By now if you don't know these Trump jokes write themselves, you deserve him. The problem is the majority of the country knows better. His campaign speeches are always filled with attractive women and maga-hatted misinformed supporters. Press conferences are nothing more than orchestrated lies. Tragically sad is that now, dismemberment is acceptable.
So enjoy Kanye, trump will call him and congratulate his high ratings (like Roseanne). If you don't vote this year, laws will be overturned, rule of government is already shattered, but the big ratings will make it all worth it.
