I'd love to see Lady Gaga in a musical and this could work if she's able to bring the comedy. Rosie I don't care about.
How Long is Lady Gaga due in Vegas for?
I thought it was multiple shows over a two year period?
So unless they are talking about say the 21/22 season
She is then scheduled to go on tour after.
I highly doubt this is true. Theres just zero time for her, with her success in a star is born, she might be aiming for an EGOT. Just sounds like wishful thinking on Rosie’s part
If Gaga is going to campaign, get nominated and possibly win Best Supporting actress then I would see her next move as pursuing a film career in possibly a non-singing role. Barbara's version of Gypsy will probably become greenlit if both agree to it especially with them both being in the public eye with Star is Born.

1. Gaga is not supporting.
2. Gypsy ain’t happenin’.

Gaga yes. Rosie no.
Although I still think if Gaga comes to Broadway, it needs to be in an Evita revival.

She was born to play Evita but with the Madonna comparisons I don’t see it ever happening.
Still hoping and praying she plays Elphaba in the movie. She is only person who could do it justice. She has the star power, the look, the strangeness and most importantly: the voice.

Please, please, please. If there is a casting god out there, somewhere, please. Her performance in A Star is Born showed that she can nail Elphaba’s angst, stubborn feistiness, and strength.
It's not fair, but every time I hear of Rosie affiliated with some production, I think disaster in the making. I would imagine, though, that Lady G. could do just about anything she desires at this point.

i saw Funny Girl with Natasha Barnes on the West End after Sheridan left the show. Barnes was radiant. I would love to see her in a Broadway production although it is my understanding that legally it’s often easier to use United States citizens in Broadway productions.
Here’s Barnes in a music video of her single (off her solo album) from last year:

She also has a lovely version of “People” on her solo album.
Rosie's trolling us, she just answered this on her website:
Favorite musical you would love to see remade?
funny girl

It's also often easier to sell tickets to a star-driven show with a star that people have actually heard of.

Anastasia and Mean Girls aren’t led by what people outside the theater community would consider household names, yet they continue to sell out. You don’t need a star to profit. Of course it helps, but it doesn’t always have to be your only option.
Also....sending me a blank message? Please, grow up.
