I'm in the minority - I saw this a few weeks ago. I thought Adrienne Warren was purely imitating Tina Turner rather than showing us her soul. She did the former very well, but this isn't Vegas. Her performance was all energy, all the time. And I hope they work on the book before the transfer.
Yesssss, this should be a Broadway Hit! I love this musical, seen it 3 times now. Adrienne Warren is outstanding in the role so it would be great if she transfers to Broadway.
Maybe this takes the Brooks Atkinson if Waitress closes in the Spring?
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
It has the same lead producer as Anastasia, so if Anastasia can stay alive another year (doubtful), maybe the Shuberts would let them continue in the Broadhurst? Tina's theatre in London is 1200 seats.

Interesting theory. I could see Anastasia wrapping it up Labor Day 2019, letting Tina take the Broadhurst for previews next Oct/Nov and opening Nov/Dec.
The title is so boring, but unlike some subjects, she’s lived a hell of a life that would be great fodder for a musical, and on top of the solid London reviews, specifically for Warren, this could be the next BEAUTIFUL.

It's at the Aldwych owned by the Nederlander's so I take it they'll put in the Brooks Atkinson since their one of the producers!

Sunday in the Park with George
Sasha Allen posted a snapshot of sheet music of Tina’s songs on her insta story on IG. I wonder if that means they are auditioning for the London version of the show or for the US version.
A friend of mine went over to see it this past week and raved about it.
funhamilton_rent, I feel you. They aren't my thing and i tend to stay away. I have to say that for as long as I stayed away from them I finally saw JERSEY BOYS and loved it. But it is well done, in my opinion. My whole thing is I know the stories and own the music. I am not going to pay to go see it onstage when I can go see something new. JMO
There seems to be a lot of jukebox musicals out there now and hopefully the next wave of musicals will be originals.
